Obituary of Rosalie A. Clukey
Dexter – Rosalie A. (Mountain) Clukey, 64, wife of Barry A. Clukey, passed away peacefully with the family’s blessing, after a six year struggle with Lewy body dementia. She passed on April 21, 2019, at Hibbard Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (special care unit), Dover-Foxcroft, just hours after the blessed early birth of her second grandchild, Evan Richard Clukey. She was born July 6, 1954, in Old Town, the daughter of Raymond Mountain Sr. and Geraldine (Jackson) Mountain.
In addition to her loving husband, Barry Clukey of Dexter, Rosalie is survived by her mother, Geraldine Mountain of Dexter; two sons, Nicholas Clukey and his wife, Nycole, of Brownville, and Jason Clukey and his significant other, Stacy Robinson, of Dexter; two grandchildren, Tristan and Evan Clukey of Brownville; two brothers, Raymond Mountain Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Sangerville, and Timothy Mountain and his wife, Debbie, of Dexter; two sisters, Elizabeth Perkins of Dexter, and Irene Ellis and her husband, Robert, of W. Bridgewater, MA; many nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
Rosalie was predeceased by her loving father, Raymond Mountain Sr.; her special shopping buddy and mother-in-law, Ruth Turner and husband, Wayne; and father-in-law, James (Alton) Clukey and his wife, Barbara.
A graveside memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the family lot in Mt Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with Deacon David Denbow officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Rosalie’s name to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 921 Killian Hill Road SW, Lilburn, GA 30047, or to Hibbard Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Special Care Unit, Activities Fund, 1037 West Main St., Dover-Foxcroft, Maine 04426.
