Obituary of Vernon F. Mudgett Jr.
Milo – Vernon F. Mudgett, Jr., 62, passed away March 21, 2019 after a short illness at Ross Manor, Bangor. He was born April 3, 1956, in Bar Harbor, the son of Vernon F. Sr. and Jeanette (Stanchfield) Mudgett. He was a graduate of Penquis Valley High School, Class of 1975, and had worked as a machine mechanic at True Textiles for many years. Vern loved to watch and talk about sports, especially the New England Patriots. An avid collector of Star Trek memorabilia and movies, he was a quiet man, well liked by all. He will be missed by many.
Vern is survived by two sisters, Vernette Morton and Theresa Mudgett; an aunt, Lynette Pete; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including nephew, Albert Farmer and nieces, Paula Thody and Kelley Morton. He will be remembered by his life partner, Joyce Dunham, and her children, Wendall and Roberta, and grandson who he thought of as a grandson himself, Allen Yanbul. He was predeceased by a sister, Rose.
