Dear Karen and Family,
I am greatly saddened by your mother's passing. She was one of my best friends at Katahdin Avenue School. I admired her intelligence, independence, loyalty, sense of humor and all the other attributes she possessed.
She was a wonderful role model to me and certainly one of a kind! I have so many beautiful memories of Evelyn, really too many to count.
Please accept my deepest sympathies to you and your family.
