Obituary of Zigmond W. Spack

Guilford – Zigmond W. Spack, 73, passed away February 13, 2019, at Dexter Health Care.  He was born November 12, 1945, in Guilford, the son of Walter F. and Evelyn M. (Rogers) Spack.  Ziggy owned and operated Z.W. Spack Trucking with his wife, Donna, for many years. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, who will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and camping. Ziggy loved Christmas, and he played Santa Claus for many years. He and Donna loved to attend the Fryeburg Fair. Spending time with his grandchildren was very important and he passed down his love of an occasional Crown to his family.

 

Ziggy was predeceased by his loving wife, Donna M. (Lessard) Spack; his daughter, Lorrie Pratt; and his sister, Nancy Perry. He is survived by three sons, Ricky Spack and his wife, Dawn, Randy Spack and his significant other, Robin Corson, and Wade Bigelow; four brothers, Forrest Spack and his wife, Evelyn, Terry Spack and his wife, Joanne, Stephen Spack, and Gary Spack; two sisters, Mary Sadler and her husband, Randy, and Susan Spack and her husband, Larry Lawler; nine grandchildren, Darin Spack and his wife, Brittany, Jessica Gilbert and her husband, Jim, Briker Raye, Kjersten Merrill and her husband, Austin, Sheila McEwen, Alyson Zappala and her husband, Joseph, Taylor Stewart, Zachery Pratt, and Bailey Spack; son-in-law, Richard Pratt; sister-in-law, Jody Wyman; special friends, Carl Clark, and Debbie and Hewey Goodridge;  and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

A graveside memorial service with military honors will be held in the spring at the family lot in Lawn Cemetery, Guilford. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
