Obituary of Phyllis A. LaBree

 

Milo – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Phyllis Marie Antoinette LaBree on December 28, 2018.   Phyllis was born October 16, 1937, in Van Buren, the daughter of Anthoine and Gertrude (Cyr) Voisine.

Phyllis was a 30 year member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Milo where she sang in the church choir. She also attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Brownville Jct. and St. Leo Catholic Church in Howland. Phyllis was loved deeply by her family and she will be greatly missed. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.

In addition to her loving husband of 64 years, she is survived by her daughters, Vickie Stanley (David), Susan Bear (Martin), Deborah Merrithew (Tony), and Alice Wettengel (Mark); her sons, Richard N. LaBree, Jr. (Roxanna), and Clyne A . LaBree (Terri); a brother, Anthony Voisine; a sister, Betty Ann Messer (William); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Phyllis’s family extends a special thank you to the hospice caregivers for providing such great care during her journey.

 Friends are invited to call 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, January 3, 2019, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11:00am Friday, January 4, at Sts. Francis Xavier and Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Milo. Spring burial will be in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
