I have sweet memories of Ricky (which is what we called him as kids). He and his siblings were my cousins for summer vacation fun as a child. I loved the cabin on Piper Pond and the time we spent together. It doesn't seem that long ago, and I'm asking myself now why I didn't work a little harder to keep in touch so I could have been a small part of his life as an adult. Your family has been in my prayers since I heard, and especially today during the time for the service. May God encourage you with His comfort and with His presence. [My father, Maynard Nutting, is Ricky's father Donald's brother, the one who is closest in age to him. When I talked to my father this morning, I told him about Ricky's passing, and he and my mom will be praying for you all, too.]
