Guilford - Fern E. Moulton, 86, passed away peacefully September 25, 2018, at Westgate Manor in Bangor. She was born July 9, 1932, in Rockwood, the daughter of Dana S. and Elizabeth M. (Cary) Richards.  Fern enjoyed canoeing, lobster, fishing, and especially fly fishing. She was a very avid birdwatcher and appreciated all wildlife in general. Fern had a deep love for the outdoors and took great pleasure in hiking with her husband and family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and traveling with her husband Franklin. They traveled many places, but her favorite was Alaska which they visited three times. 

 

In addition to her loving husband of 68 years, Franklin Moulton, Fern is survived by her son, David Moulton and his wife, Brenda, of Coventry, CT; three daughters, Mary Bateman and her husband Wayne of Wells, Tammy Boyington and her husband Gordon, and Ann Bicknell, all of Milford. She has six grandchildren, Joseph and Elizabeth Moulton, Christopher and Dustin Bateman, and Sebastian and Chandler Boyington.

 

A memorial mass will be held 11AM Saturday, October 13, 2018, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 43 High Street, Dover-Foxcroft, with Father Robert Lupo officiating. After the service a reception for family and friends will be held at 12:30PM at the Guilford United Methodist Church, 3 School Street, Guilford.
