Obituary of Alvin Highers

LaGrange -Al Highers, 68, passed away unexpectedly September 13, 2018, at his home. He was battling with Parkinson's disease. Al worked many years with heavy equipment in Connecticut and Maine. Al was a very likeable person. He had many friends.

He was predeceased by his son, Alvin Highers Jr. Al is survived by his wife of 31 years, Donna Highers; his daughter, Jeanette Saunders of Jacksonville, NC; stepchildren, Tori Smith and family and Misty Rowe and family, all of Connecticut; mother in-law, Adriene Saucier of Greenville; sister in-law and husband, John and Jo Ann Decesere of Searsport; a special niece and husband, Tanya Ward and Dave Moses of Rockwood. Al had a grandchild, several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by special friends, Eddie and Kelly, Rick and Elicia, Tom and Mel, Mike and wife and many more people in his life.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 2pm Saturday October 6, 2018, at the Marion Cook School, 22 Howland Road, LaGrange. It is going to be a Pot Luck Gathering so please feel free to bring something. Al's finally resting place will be in the family lot in the Greenville Cemetery.
