Obituary of James Richard Vaughn

Milford - James Richard Vaughn, 45, passed away unexpectedly September 3, 2018, at his home. He was born January 7, 1973, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of James Remus and Leah (Good) Vaughn.

James is survived by his three children, Alexander James, Aiden Eli, and Vivienne Aurora Vaughn; the mother of his children, Elizabeth (Sawyer) Vaughn; two sisters, Denise Braden, and Darlene Lily and her husband, Danny; a nephew, Jason Gibson; and two close friends, Jody Porter Hackley, and Michael Jurgensmeyer, from Missouri that he considered to be part of his family as well. He was predeceased by his father; his mother; and two brothers, David and Greg Gibson.

A memorial service will be held 4PM Saturday, September 15, 2018, at the Milo United Baptist Church, with Pastor Phil McGlauflin officiating. Immediately following the service, all are invited downstairs to the church hall for continued fellowship.  Memorial contributions may be made in James’ name to the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter, 263 Main Street, Bangor, Maine 04401.
