Obituary of Phyllis Saunders Emery

Brownville – Phyllis Saunders Emery, 42, passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2018, in Milo. She was born February 19, 1976, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Harrison and Gloria (Munson) Saunders of Milo. Phyllis spent her days playing Yahtzee with her special friend, Cordine Rideout. She loved taking her nephew, MJ, for long walks.  She was a very trustworthy, kind and loving mother, wife, daughter, and grandmother.

Phyllis is survived by her loving husband, Dana Emery, and loving children, Caleb, 23, and Natasha, 19, and Natasha’s loving fiancé, Nathaniel Garland, and her very special friend, Casie Knudsen.  She leaves her brother, Mark Saunders and his wife, Laurie; her sister, Katherine Brown; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, who were all very special to her.

She was pre-deceased by her brother, Harrison Saunders, Jr., her niece, Amanda Saunders, and brother-in-law, Lee Brown.

A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with Rev. Orman Fowler of the Milo Pentecostal Church, officiating. Condolences may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
