Obituary of David Strout

Milo- David A. Strout, 56, passed away June 1, 2018, at EMMC from complications of the injuries he sustained in an accident. He was born Feb 18, 1962, in Waterbury, Connecticut, the son of Clarence and Edith (Burton) Strout. How do you express the immense love for an incredible man who loved with all his heart. David was an incredible husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, and friend. He had a sense of humor that his son and daughter both developed. He was rare to anger and fierce in his love. Before David was plagued by many health issues he loved hunting, fishing, boating, tennis, and playing cards. He adored watching his little girl play sports and he swelled with pride of his son serving in the Marine Corps. He loved spending time at Camp in the RIPS and Buttermilk. David had enjoyed his many years of work at Dexter Shoe in the Warehouse.

David was predeceased by his beloved son and best friend, CPL Devon Strout, and his mom, Edith Strout. David is survived by his wife, Edwina, who was blessed to have been loved and adored by him for 25 years; his precious daughter, Aileen “Bean”,whom he cherished; his loving father, Clarence Strout; three sisters, Cindy Smart and husband, Randy, Lynn Stanhope and husband, Jim, and Tracy Larrabee (little sister he loved to tease mercilessly )and husband, Peter; his loved, sister-in-law, Jane Albert and husband Mike; in-laws, Robert and Sheena Lundin; his wonderful nieces and nephews, Erika/Angie, Corey/Bryce, Stephen/Pete, and Christopher/Matthew; great-nieces and nephews Piper, Ivy, Fern, Julien, Adrian, and a new little one on the way. David was loved by all that knew him family, friends, and acquaintances.
