Milo- Sheila M. Ellis, 67, passed away peacefully May 31, 2018, at home surrounded by family. She was born July 8, 1950, in Milo, the daughter of Vernon and Nellie (Dean) Willinski. Sheila worked as a manager for local hardware businesses, first for True Value and then most recently at Three Rivers Hardware.  She was a member of the United Baptist Church and the MSAD 41 School Board for many years. Her favorite times were spent with grandchildren; her family meant everything to her. Sheila especially enjoyed life at camp on Boyd Lake.

 

She is survived by her loving husband, Torrey Ellis; two sons, Shane Fowles and his significant other, Jenny, and Tony Fowles and his wife, Shannon; stepson, Travis Ellis and his fiancé, Erica Brownell; four grandchildren, Shelby Fowles, Caiden Fowles, Sydney Fowles, and Logan Fowles; four step-grandchildren, Bryant Lugo, Peter Bishop, Ethan Bishop, and Josie Bishop; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Sheila was predeceased by two brothers, Parker and Arnold Willinski, and her nephew, John Willinski.

 

A celebration of Sheila’s life will be held 10am Monday, June 11, 2018, at the United Baptist Church, Milo, with Rev. Ernie Madden and Pastor Phil McGlauflin officiating. After the service family and friends are invited to a reception downstairs at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sheila Ellis Sports Scholarship, C/O Maine Savings FCU, P.O. Box 447, Milo, Maine 04463. This scholarship will be awarded to a MSAD 41 Student-Athlete. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
