Obituary of Michael A. Bushman
Greenville - Michael A. Bushman was born on June 11, 1949, in Woburn, MA and passed away peacefully at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor, on May 23, 2018, with family by his side. Mike was a very heroic individual with numerous accomplishments. After graduating from Boston University in mechanical engineering from the ROTC program, he joined the Air Force in the Strategic Air Command division flying KC135s. After the Air Force, he began a career at Texas Instruments as an engineering supervisor followed by a mechanical engineer at Polaroid Corporation in their holographic division.
Mike always had a passion for the outdoors, which led him and his wife to pursue their retirement in Greenville, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and ATVing. While living in Greenville, he was on the board of directors of the snowmobile club, ATV club and the local association. He was a devoted husband for 38 years. He will be remembered for his positive, can do attitude, his independent spirit, his enthusiasm for life, and always standing for what he believed in.
He was predeceased by his mother, Lillian Bushman, father, Adam Bushman, and sister, Carol Lopes. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lindsey of Greenville, ME, his sister, Susan Bushman Horn of Cudjoe Key, FL, his brother in law, Brian J Broderick of Mesa, AZ, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
