I knew John briefly as my father's "next door neighbor" at Hibbard Main Street West. John and my dad became friends soon after John moved in to his apartment there. Initially, this was most likely attributable to their shared the values and memories as part of the "greatest generation." Not long thereafter, they seemed to have that mysterious bond that men of few words seem have. Although I only saw and spoke with John a few times, it was evident that he was a caring and honorable man who exemplified best of his generation. He is missed.
Sincerely,
Gail Fallon (and Tony Larson)
