Obituary of Leon Michael Vincent, Jr.

Dover-Foxcroft-Leon M. Vincent, Jr.,78, passed away peacefully March 22, 2018, at home. He was born February 4, 1940, in Boston, Massachusettes, the son of Leon M. Sr. and Marjorie (McCracken) Vincent. Maine was heaven on earth to him. He loved his trees, his land, his books, and riding his scooter around Dover-Foxcroft. A brilliant man, he always saw the glass as half full. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Fondly, he was called “Unk” by most who knew him. He was very close to his sister, Marjorie Morris of Dover-Foxcroft; brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Anne Vincent of Hingham, MA; and brother Peter Vincent of Billerica, MA. He loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children, and always enjoyed spending time with his grand nieces and grand nephews as well.
