Stella, I love you and I miss you. I'm Sorry I did not get to talk to you one more time before you passed. You are an inspiration to me. Your life is inspirational. To Stella's family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Stella's passing. She was a most talented lady and an old friend going back to grade school. It was my pleasure to view her paintings at an exhibition she held at the University of Maine during her student days. The exhibition was very well received and Stella was proud of her work and academic accomplishment.
As much as Stella will be missed, her art, writing and love of her family and friends will provide a comforting and long lasting legacy. My best to her family now and always.

As her friend, I felt blessed to have shared Stella's enthusiasm and passion for art as she made her way through the University of Maine as an older student. We shared pizza at Pat's in Orono. Her college graduation was a thrilling culmination of years of dedicated study. Her bright and positive spirit will live on in her artwork and children's book. We miss you, dear lady.

Joe and I were shocked to hear of Stella's passing.
We met Stella and Chuck as host parents of our exchange student, Anh. Anh was good friends with Kenza, Stella and Chuck's exchange student.
I spent some time with Stella two Sundays ago. I took her to church because Chuck was away. We visited for a bit after church and got caught up on things. Stella showed me the book and gave me a copy of the book cover and back. It was a beautiful story and book. Stella introduced me to the kitty--which she obviously loved!
We know Kenza has been in touch. The other exchange students, Anh and Ani, and their Biddeford friend, Monica, know of Stella's passing. All four girls wanted us to send along their condolences to Chuck and the family.
Stella was an exceptional artist and was obviously passionate about her work. It was a joy to watch her show her art--especially when it involved family members as the subject.
