John A. Leavitt
Dover-Foxcroft- John A. Leavitt,75, passed away February 10, 2018, at his home in Dover-Foxcroft. He was born January 21, 1943, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of John B. Leavitt and Blanch Rolfe Leavitt. John served in the military during Vietnam and then spent his later years as a carpenter. John was the VFW commander in Dover-Foxcroft for many years and was an avid coin collector.
John is survived by his son, Michael Leavitt; daughter, Jennifer Zahar; four nephews, Eugene, David, Steve, and Paul; and a niece, Annette.
