Obituary of Gloria E. Perkins

PARKMAN—Gloria E. Perkins, 59, passed away January 2, 2018, at her residence.  She was born June 15, 1959, at Fort McClellan, Anniston, Alabama, a daughter of George and Ellen Perkins formerly of Abbot Village, Maine.  Gloria was one who loved good poetry and had written many poems of her own.

In years past she drove school bus for the Guilford school district and worked for the Woolen Mill in Guilford, as well as other odd jobs.  She loved her grandchildren and was able to spend many precious moments with them.

Gloria is survived by her children, Michael and Sandra Sweet, Amanda Richardson, and Jehoshaphat and Georgia Dawn Priest; her father, George C Perkins Sr.; sister, Debbie Wasilewski; two brothers, George C. Perkins, Jr., and Shane M. Perkins Sr.; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Ellen R. Perkins. 

There will be a memorial service 1:00p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Parkman Baptist Church in Parkman, Maine. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
