To Bob's Family,
It's been a long road for Bob as I can see him coming to Hibbards day after day to see Arlene, and then to be there himself for so long. I think it has been a hard road, and I feel almost relieved for him. My sympathy to all of you, but especially Pat, who gave so much of her time to him. He loved to see your face come thru that door! Thinking of all of you.
A great man from whom I learned to never wait for someone else to do the things that I could do myself. So many of the lessons I strive to convey to my daughter were gifted to me from my Papa: it's important to know what is morally right in any situation, but even more important to know not to expect anyone to choose that right - he passed on strong ideals that were carefully guarded by a realist's interpretation of world events. Rest easy, Papa - you carried a heavy load for nearly a century. I'll miss you dearly. Ryan
