Obituary of Alexander S. Gardner

LaGrange – Alexander S. Gardner, 35, passed away unexpectedly December 1, 2017.  He was born June 28, 1982, in Woodbury, New Jersey, the son of Gary S. and Robin M. (Bennett) Gardner. Alex was a giver; he was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back and loved providing for the children in town.  He will be remembered as an intellectual who enjoyed science and mathematics, nurturing his garden, getting his hands dirty, four wheeling, jacked up trucks, country, the outdoors, and of course, his guns.

Alex was loved by many and is survived by his father, Gary Gardner; his two sisters, Celeste Creighton and her husband, Alex, and Brooke Gardner; his two nieces, Mercedes and Emily Creighton; his uncle, James Bennett; his aunt, Marsha Gardner and her family; special cousins, Kelly Gilbert-Rios, and Mario and Marco Gilbert; his best friend, Justin Decker; and many friends far and wide. He was predeceased by his mother, Robin Gardner.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Sunday, December 10, 2017, at New Life Old Town. Memorial contributions may be made to New Life Old Town, 261 Main Street, Old Town 04468.
