Obituary of Ruby E. Decker
LaGrange – Ruby E. Decker, 64, passed away September 12, 2017, at her home. She was born August 16, 1953, in Biddeford, the daughter of Otto Gerard and Edith A. (Curran) Garland.
In addition to her loving husband of 22 years, Thomas Decker of LaGrange, Ruby is survived by three sons, Adam Rawding and his wife, Robin, of Shapleigh, Thomas Decker III and his wife, Angela, of Waterboro, and Eric of Dexter; five daughters, Cynthia Bailey and her husband, Peter, of Acton, Trudy Rawding Emery and her husband, Willard, of Milo, Lillian Desruisseaux and her husband, John, of Sanford, Alicia Conley and her husband, Mike, of Brownville, and Erica Garland of LaGrange. She leaves a brother, Albert Curran and his wife, Joann, of Milo; two sisters, Allegra Schoor of Michigan and Dorothy of Tennessee; and 21 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to call 5-7pm Friday, September 15, 2017, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo. A funeral service will be conducted 11am Saturday, September 16, at the LaGrange Baptist Church, with Pastor Bruce Stevens officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Hillcrest Cemetery, LaGrange. Friends and family are invited to share in a time of fellowship at Trudy’s home, 172 Medford Road, Milo, after the burial.
