Obituary of Robert "Bo" Harris

Greenville- Robert “Bo” Harris, Jr., 52, husband of Sandra L. (McEachern) Harris, passed away April 2, 2016, at C.A. Dean Memorial Hospital in Greenville after a longtime battle with MS and cancer. He was born December 19, 1963, in Greenville, the son of Robert G., Sr. and Delores A. (Caron) Harris. Bo attended Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute in Presque Isle before he worked as a wood harvester for Scott Paper Co. and a fuel attendant at Indian Hill Trading Post for 25 years. He battled MS courageously for nearly 30 years. Bo will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and son who especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his coin collection. In addition to his wife and parents, Bo is survived by his daughter, Leslie Harris, all of Greenville; his brother, Joseph Harris and his partner, Darla Larsen of Augusta; his nephew, Dakota Harris and his wife Kaitlyn and their children, Khloee and Wyatt of Greenville; his mother-in-law, Maryann McEachern of Rockland; his sister-in-law, Julie McEachern of Hope; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Barry McEachern. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at C.A. Dean Memorial Hospital for all the loving and compassionate care that Bo has received over the years. A graveside service will be conducted later in the Spring at the family lot in Greenville Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in Bo’s name to the Charles A.
