Our thoughts and prayers are with all that feel the loss of my cousin Ann Douglas. I have the greatest memories from the late 60's and 70's when my Dad (Aunt Cathe's brother) would load us all up to head to Nashua. It always seemed like such a big event....looking back it really was. For me seeing my Dad's side of the family was extra special, they lived so far away it seemed back then. I remember Ann always dotting on us younger kids. They were truly wonderful times, My mind pictures her with Uncle Jules and John like it was yesterday, oh if it only were. My heart aches for those days......I remember Ann and Dave's wedding 42 years ago....another big trip for our family traveling the few hours from Albany. I can remember the church and the wedding party kneeling at the alter, I was only 10 but still have vivid memories of that special day. Many years passed and many miles came between our visits. I am so glad my wife and kids had the chance a few years ago to visit Ann in Santa Barbara. She opened her home and arms to us for those couple days. I remember reminiscing with her about the old days in New Hampshire.....it was like 30 years had not passed. I only wish we had been closer so we could have shared more special moments and memories. I love and miss Ann and hope the pain of losing a daughter and sister will be eased over time as the memories and strength she gave us lives on. Strength and Peace to all!

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Ann Douglas. Truly, no words, however gently intended, can take away the sorrow you are experiencing at this time. But please know that God cares for you and he has promised to do away with sorrow, sickness, pain, tears and death. (Revelation 21: 3, 4) May your fond memories of Ann and the comfort from God and the scriptures help you to endure this difficult time.
Sincerely and Respectfully

Dear Ann
You were such a kind and thoughtful person, I will always think of you when I wear my cowboy boots which you trekked half way around the world to Scotland for me. It was a privilege to have worked with you over the years, I'm so sad I didn't get to speak to you before you left for Maine.
My thoughts are with David and your family.

Dear Ann,
I am so sad you did not get your time to paint next to a lake and learn to fly fish like a pro but you are in the presence of our Lord and that surpasses all else so I'm excited for you. Over the past 30 years you have been friend, mentor and rock in my life both personally and as we traveled together working at 4 companies! The Lee Anne and Ann Combo Pack. My favorite work memories are your box with a clock on it where people had to deposit $$ if they were late to your staff meetings, when during a business trip many years ago to Korea you found yourself in a restaurant needing to use "the facilities" and they escorted you to a bucket in the corner of the kitchen....yes Ann I'm giving out a little T.M.I. to your chagrin however with grace you found a screen to maintain your dignity and returned to your table without blinking! I on the other hand was on the floor LOL, lastly how you earned the title excel queen by setting up a system in excel to manage product scheduling and material at 3 facilities in 3 different countries. I even gave you a crown on a chain it was so impressive as excel was still pretty new to all of us at the time. As for personal memories lets just say that what happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas but the alcoholic slushy bar was wonderful! Not to worry Dave nothing scandalous. I have always been so in awe of how you can have such a solid head for business and yet have this impressive artistic talent. Your artwork is a beautiful gift to leave for your family. You have been a busy girl over your lifetime and while I will miss your earthly body I'm going to trust that God knew your work was done here and it was time for you to rest. I look forward to once again following you to the next and final place we will find ourselves and seeing you again. Remember it will be your job to put your hand over my mouth as needed.
So Good Night My Dear Friend. Soar with the Angels.
Love,
Lee Anne
