Dear Tom and family, My sincerest heartfelt sympathies for the loss of your Dad. I remember how close you were and how he always managed to bring a smile to your face when you mentioned him. I met him when you were based in Augusta with GP, a remarkably talented man with a fabulous personality. Treasure all your wonderful memories you created and shared together; they will bring you much comfort now and in the future. Best regards, Gaile

We are thinking of you all.
I am remembering with fondness the great times in your home. Tom seemed so quiet and laid back, and Chris was the spark that kept fun going. He was always so patient with the hubbub that swirled around him in the local teen "safe house"! Did Tom ever raise his voice? I don't think I ever heard it!
He had a great mind and seemed to think deeply on any topic under consideration.
He and your Mom extended me my first credit at the store. (For an LP I couldn't afford, but wanted desperately!) Years later, I used them for my first credit check when out on my own! Chris later joked that they figured I was a good risk!
Want you to know you are all close in heart and memories although we seldom see one another anymore.

To Stephanie,Vicki,Valerie,Tom Jr. and all the rest of the family, We are sorry to hear of Tommy,s passing, he was such a dear, kind hearted man. We loved hearing his war stories and other tales from long ago, as well as his explanations of how he invented some ingenious way of fixing something. We know you all will miss his earthly presence, but rejoice in knowing he is reunited with Chriss in their heavenly home. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. With Love, Sue and Donnie

Please know how much we loved Tommy. HIs days with Avis were certainly a blessing to both of them. Our family was so glad they had each other. Our young days in Milo always included stops at the Howards Hardware Store. Chris and Tommy always treated folks as family. Paulette sends along her best wishes to the children who were part of her growing up years in Milo. We wish we could be there with you to celebrate Tommy's life but we will be with you in spirit.
