Obituary of Alton G. Saunders

Sebec – Alton “Gene” G. Saunders, 66, passed away April 30, 2017. Gene was born April 25, 1951, in Sebec, the son of Harrison and Phyllis (Lowell) Saunders.

Gene is survived by three sons, Earl, Dakota, and Trevor Saunders; a step-daughter, Sherry Cowing; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; three brothers, Byron, Harrison, and Bernard Saunders; three sisters, Betty Ames, Irene Pegues, and Sharon Crockett; four sisters-in-law, Donna, Gloria, Evelyn, and Crystal Saunders; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Merle Boober and Alan Paul Saunders.

There will be a celebration of Gene’s life at the Gerrish Warren Center at Thayer Parkway on May 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
