Obituary of Nancy J. Bowley

Milo – Nancy J. Bowley, 75, wife of the late Carlton C. Bowley, passed away March 4, 2017, at her home. She was born February 20, 1942, in Millinocket, the daughter of Hollis and Izetta (Barker) Clark. Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Milo High School where she enjoyed being a majorette. She went on to study radiology. In her 50’s she graduated with high honors from Beal College with a degree in Medical Office Management. She was proud of her work at the local food cupboard and also supported PAWS in Milo. Nancy enjoyed camping and fishing with Carlton, her husband of 49 years. She is survived by four daughters, Liani Nutter, Lisa Buckminster and husband, Ralph, Lorri Eaton, and Leah Peabody and husband, John; a brother Michael Clark and wife, Karen; two sisters-in-law, Lorette Clark, and Vivian McCormick; a brother-in-law, David Bowley and wife, Ann; 7 grandchildren, Justin and Robert Cook, Dustin and Kyndle Brown, Jordan and Skylar Seavey, and Isaac Peabody; and 6 great-grandchildren. Nancy was predeceased by a brother, P.D. Clark. A graveside service at the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, will be announced in the spring.
