Obituary of Henry Alan Patten
Levant and Atkinson- Henry Alan Patten left to be with his family in heaven on Monday February 6, 2017. He was born on November 11, 1997, son of Tonya (Smith) and the late Peter Patten. Henry was a freshman at Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor, pursuing a degree in Business Management. He was a diligent young man who enjoyed his job at Maine Distributors, and will always be remembered by his family for his clever ways with buying and trading goods. Henry was a member of the 2016 graduating class of Hermon High School, while in school he played soccer and baseball. From the time he was old enough to play t-ball, Henry had a passion for playing ball. He enjoyed pitching and playing outfield.
Henry is survived by his mother and five siblings, Haley and husband Nicholas Emery, Shelby, Kelly and Harvey Patten, and Piper Sanborn who will all remember his warm smile and gentle demeanor. He will be dearly missed by his maternal grandparents Patricia and Roger Smith, his aunt Melissa Smith and Terry Priest, and Dj Sanborn and his family. He is predeceased by his father and paternal grandparents, Gladys and Irving Patten. Also mourning his loss are his special friends Lexi Quimby, Brady Bemis and Trevor Leavitt, as well as two very special nieces Lily and Liza, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In his free time, Henry, enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his friends and family, and loved riding his motorcycle. He will always be remembered for his fun-loving personality, his love for animals and his desire to help those in need. He will be missed greatly by his younger sister and two nieces whom he loved to play with.
Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Henry on Saturday February 11, 2017, at the Bradford Community Center from 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Henry can be sent to the Milo Recreation Department at the Milo Town Office at 6 Pleasant Street Milo, Maine 04463.
