Obituary of Martha M. Danforth

Sangerville - Martha M. Danforth, 91, passed away peacefully January 26, 2017, at Hibbard Nursing Home, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born March 21, 1925, in Wytopitlock, Maine, the daughter of Irving and Ruth (Philbrook) Horton. Martha was a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Sangerville, where she was involved in the Catholic Ladies Club and the church choir. She was a wonderful seamstress and loved to sew in her spare time. She was truly loved by her family and many friends who appreciated her warm personality and sense of humor. Martha will be greatly missed by all who knew her and took care of her. She is survived by her son, Frank Danforth and his wife, Debra, of Auburn; her daughter, Bonnie Graff and companion, Ron Hall, of Guilford two grandchildren, Jaime-Lyn Gilbert and Miranda Durant and her companion, Kurt Ouellette, all of Guilford; and five great-grandchildren, Bryce, Kobe, and Gavyn Gilbert, and Aliyah and Jaylin Ouellette, all of Guilford. Martha was predeceased by her husband, Daniel A. Danforth, her only grandson, Daniel J. Danforth, and her brothers, Lawrence and Gil Horton. Spring burial will be in the family lot in the Lawn Cemetery, Guilford. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Guilford.
