Grampie, we were so lucky to have you as our grandfather and your sense of humor made everyone laugh. I'll always remember all the fun we had playing Bocci and "Jarts" in your Sayville backyard (back when they were legal, of course) and you letting us kids throw whatever we could think of down the laundry-shoot so we could watch how things fell into the basement. The times in Maine were just as fun...your famous "woodpiles;" hikes on the trails behind your house to the "Corn Field," our playful banter about how "the Red Sox Suck, Grampie" and your driving us around to "Cell Phone Hill" so we could get a cell signal & keep in contact with our friends on vacation. I'll miss talking to you about your time in the service and all the fun vacations you took when you were young. I hope you are resting easy with your parents and siblings. We all love and miss you! Love, Eileen
