Myrna Angove Ricker Obituary

Milo – Myrna Angove Ricker, 94, died January 20, 2025. She was born August 1, 1930, in Milo, the daughter of Clyde and Yvonne Bouley Angove. Myrna married a very special man, Lawrence Ricker. She graduated from Milo High School and University of Maine, Orono. Myrna taught school for 25 years and was a member of the Retired Teacher Association, Milo Garden Club, and Eastern Star #39 in Milo. She and Lawrence were married for 54 years and lived in Milo for the summers and Florida for the winters.


Myrna is survived by her son, Robert and wife, Lynn Lumbra Ricker; daughter, Pamela and husband, Robert Brooks; grandson, David Ricker; granddaughter, Hilary and her husband, Luke Freeman; grandson, Alex and his wife, Molly Lizotte London; great-grandchildren, June, Jack Winn and Wilsie London, and Everly and Calihan Freeman; and special friend, Norman Smith. In addition to her husband, Lawrence, she was predeceased by her sister, Gloria and husband, James Whalen; sister, Dorothy and husband, James Ireland; brother-in-law, Edward and wife, Violet Ricker; brother-in-law, Carl and wife, Patricia Ricker; and sister-in-law, Ella and husband, James Thomas.


A graveside service will be held 11 am Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. A celebration of life will follow at Three Rivers Kiwanis, 15 Harris Pond Road, Milo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northern Light Cancer Research, 33 Whiting Hill Road, Lafayette Family Cancer Institute, Brewer, ME 04412.
