Obituary of Joseph Cabana
Joseph “Joe” Cabana lived life on his own terms a free spirit, a wanderer and a fighter. A true biker at heart, Joe embraced the open road chasing the horizon and the thrill of freedom. Part hippie part rebel. Joe carried a deep love for life, nature and the people he met along the way. He believed in peace, music, and the kind of simplicity that only comes from understanding what truly matters.
When cancer entered his life, Joe faced it with the same grit and independence that defined him. He fought courageously never letting the illness define him. Even in his final days, Joe remained steadfast, choosing to live, and leave on his own terms surrounded by love memories, and the legacy of a life boldly lived.
Joe is survived by his children: his son, Jesse of New Hampshire; his daughter, Laura of Vermont; his son, Christopher of Florida; his daughters, Elizabeth and Amber of Kentucky; as well as his son, Ragner; and many grandchildren. He also leaves behind six beloved nieces: Angel, kamie, Kara, Kayla, Faith, Jennifer all of whom he loved and looked after throughout their lives; and his partner, Sharon Lane.
Joe was predeceased by his mother, Betty, and his father, David, as well as his two sons, Joey and Scott, and two grandchildren. Their loss was a deep part of his journey, but he carried their memory with him always.
Joe’s Legacy is one of the strength, freedom, and unconditional love for his family and friends. Ride on, Joe the road stretches endlessly now and the sky is wide open.
