Dover-Foxcroft – Cheryl L. Dyer, 78, passed away January 2, 2025, at Maine General Hospital in Portland. She was born October 16, 1946, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Joseph and Alice (Chase) Veno. Cheryl was a dedicated nurse her entire life and spent her career at Mayo Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft and with Bangor Registered Area Nurses. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren, cousins, and friends. Cheryl is survived by her husband Michael Dyer; son, John Dyer; grandchildren, Blake Dyer-LaPointe and her husband, Carter, Nicholas Dyer, Brittany Curtis and her husband, Corey, Brandon Dyer, and Matthew Fillmore; two brothers, Joseph Veno and John Veno and his wife, Marie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, and son, Michael Anthony “Tony” Dyer. There will not be any services at this time. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
