Obituary of Pearl J. "Tiny" (Morrison) York

Milo- Pearl J. “Tiny” (Morrison) York, 62, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor. She was born April 2, 1962, in Lincoln, the daughter of Perl and Josephine (Damon) Morrison. Tiny graduated from Penquis Valley High School, Class of 1980. Tiny is survived by her husband of 12 years, Chris York of Milo; son, James Tweedie of Brewer; daughter, Brittany Hartin and her husband, James, of Brownville; six grandchildren, Aria and Riley Hartin, Joycelyn Tweedie, and Colby Avellar, Hailey and Avery Bills; three sisters, Debby Roberts, Penny Ames and her husband, Russell, and Fran Brewer and her husband, Jeff; sister-in-law, Rhonda Boobar and her husband, Larry; two stepdaughters, Amber Bills and her husband, Lyman, and Christina York; her uncle who was like a brother, Harold Damon; father-in-law, Carrol “Glenn” York Jr.; very dear friend, Karen (Storer) Merchant; special cousin, Johnnie Grant and her husband, Rick, and her daughter, Lanie Badger and her twins, Brookie and Gracie, and daughter, Preslee; and three nieces, Jessica Atkinson and her husband, Jason, and their sons, Grady and Liam, Hillary Roberts and her husband, Michael Johnson, and their children, Olivia and Noah, and Hilda Roberts and her husband, John Dyer; and one nephew, Adam Brewer, and his daughter, Issabelle. She was predeceased by her parents; brother-in-law, Billy Roberts; and mother-in-law, Laureen Gormley. A celebration of Tiny’s life will be held 12 Noon Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Pleasant Park Community Building in Milo. Burial will be in the Morrison family lot in the spring at the Evergreen Cemetery in Milo. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
