Blanchard – Alex L. Hansen, 65, passed away suddenly October 22, 2024, in Blanchard. He was born February 17, 1959, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Harlan and Jacquelyn (Knowlton) Hansen. Alex was very proud to have served for the United States Marine Corps.

Alex is survived by his brothers, Jeffrey Hansen and his wife, Laurie of Milo and Mark Hansen of Monson; sisters-in-law, Mari-Ellen Hansen of Blanchard, and Priscilla Wieden of Dover-Foxcroft; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brothers, Bruce and Gregory Hansen.

A burial will be held 11AM Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard. A celebration of Alex’s life will be held immediately after the burial at the Blanchard Town Hall.
