Kevin “Scott” Smith was born on December 28, 1950, and passed on September 28, 2024 after a battle with cancer. He was born to Albert and Elizabeth Smith in York, Maine. He is survived by longtime companion and best friend, Sandi Morgan; brother, Skip (Diane) Smith; and a niece and nephew. He is also survived by his two children, Melissa (Carl) Wilson and Adam (Rachael) Smith; four grandchildren, Cassidy Guarino, Kelsey, Reece, and Ella Wilson, and great-granddaughter, Maya Sophia. He graduated from KHS with the class of 69’ where he participated in sports such as basketball and baseball. He was a skilled and respected carpenter, known as the “wizard of wood” in town for many years before he and Sandi moved to Greenville, a place they loved. Boating and fishing became their passion and they spent many hours on the Moose River with a line in the water or just enjoying the scenery around them. He also equally loved antiquing and auctions, selling his wares on eBay. There will be no services per his request. A Celebration of Life will be planned soon.
