Obituary of Michael "Jamie" Cail Jr.

Milo – Michael “Jamie” Cail Jr., 50, passed away September 22, 2024, after a short courageous battle with lung cancer and SVC syndrome. He was born December 14, 1973, in Bangor, Maine. Jamie loved to be outside on anything with a motor, whether it was a snow sled, motor cycle, ATV, or a piece of heavy equipment. He was the Foreman of Public Works for Milo. He was an avid member of the Piscataquis Valley Fair Association. Jamie particularly liked being part of the mechanical events for the Fair Association working on the Tuff Truck and Truck Pulling Tracks. He was also a member of the Cold Smoke Riders Snowmobile Club spending many hours grooming trails with his wife, Sonya, listening to Country Gold on Saturday nights. Jamie is survived by his wife, Sonya Brown Broussard of Milo; children, Chelsea Clark White (Colby) of Dummerston, VT, Jada Cail, Kenny Cail (Ashley Lee) of Spencer, TN, Rachel and Jessica Broussard of Milo; mother, Sue Ekholm Strout (Keith); mother and father in law, James and Jackie Brown; sister, Crystal Cail; brother, Darrin Cail; a special brother-in-law, James “Punky” Brown; and grandchildren, Rowan Meadows, Bryce and Brady White, Harper Howell, and Bennet Cail. He was predeceased by his grandparents; father, Michael Cail Sr.; and uncles, Andy Libby and Jason Lundin A graveside service will be held 11AM Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Milo. A celebration of Jamie’s life will be held immediately after the service at the Milo Town Hall.
