Obituary of Constance R. Beauvais

Charleston – Constance R. Beauvais, 71, passed away August 10, 2024, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. She was born July 25, 1953, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, the daughter of Carl and Betty M. (Hutchinson) Athey. Constance worked for many years as a medical coder at local hospitals including Eastern Maine Medical Center, Mayo Regional Hospital, Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital and Redington-Fairview General Hospital, before finishing her career working from home. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, gardening, and traveling to see many different places. Above all she enjoyed her family and especially her loving grandchildren. Constance is survived by her husband, Robert Beauvais; two sons, Stacy Salisbury and Jessica, Justin Beauvais and his wife, Paige; daughter, Melissa Beauvais and her wife, Amanda Ray; four grandchildren, Ashton and Ruby Salisbury, and Evie and Rowen Beauvais; two brothers, Carlyle Athey and his wife, Ann, and Bill Athey and his wife, Karen; and sister, Rhonda Troutman and husband, Tony. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Richard Athey. Visitations will be held 1-3PM Wednesday, August 14, until time of funeral service at 3PM, at the Lary Funeral Home, 62 Summer Street, Dover-Foxcroft. Committal will be after the service at the South Dover Cemetery, 1258 Bangor Road, Dover-Foxcroft. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
