Obituary of Diane Preble Lamson
Sebec - Diane Preble Lamson, 83, passed away July 14, 2024, at her residence in Sebec Village. She was born May 27, 1941, in Dover-Foxcroft, the first child of eight born to Albert C. and Dorothy (Getchell) Preble. Diane was the wife of Norman Lamson and they had just celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary. Diane always remembered her siblings and friends birthdays and anniversaries. She was a longtime and faithful member of the Sebec Community Christian Church.
Diane is survived by her husband, Norman Lamson; brothers, Rodney and wife, Eunice, and Randy and wife, Pamela; sisters, Maureen Briggs, Pamela Peterson and husband, Steve, Lynette Dow and husband, Ralph Jr. , and Rhoda Storen and partner, Dennis Roy; special friends, Ed and Sally Butler; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, David Preble and brother-in-law, Gary Briggs.
A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Sebec Village Community Christian Church.
