Milo – Gladys O. Wright, 87, passed away July 2, 2024, at Northern Light Mayo Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born October 14, 1936, in Medford, the daughter of John P. and Alice M. (Lovejoy) Ogden. Gladys drove for Lynx transportation for years. She enjoyed helping others and was always willing to help her community. She was a faithful member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Milo. Gladys is survived by her children Galen Wright II and his wife, Wanda, Kathleen Meader and her husband, George, Leroy Wright and his wife, Monika, Rebecca Currier, and Crystal Donlon; brothers, Larry Ogden and his wife, Valerie, and Benjamin Ogden and his wife, Tami; sister-in-law, Terry Ogden; 15 grandchildren, Erica, Manuela, Joe, Amanda, Jasmin, Heather, Dwayne, James, Irene, Katharina, Sheila, Matthew, DJ, Kira, and Elora; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Galen Wright I; son, Timothy Wright; brothers and significant others, Phillip and Peggy Ogden, Robert and Judy Ogden, John Ogden, Linwood Ogden, and Arthur Ogden; and sisters and their significant others, Gertrude and Conrad Demers, and Norma and Russell Wright. A graveside memorial service will be held 10AM Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the family lot in the Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
