Guilford- Marjorie L. Ellis, 90, wife of the late Douglas L. Ellis, Jr., passed away, joining Papa, the love of her life, peacefully December 13, 2016, at home with her daughter and granddaughter at her side. She was born April 4, 1926, in Monson, the daughter of Edmund and Maude (Kelly) Richards. Marjorie will always be remembered as being a very loving mother and grandmother and often picked blueberries and fiddleheads to deliver to friends and family. She helped her loved ones in any way she could. The family camp on Whetstone Pond was a very special place which Marjorie treasured. Marjorie enjoyed bowling when she was younger and won many trophies with her teams; she was very competitive and loved playing dice and boggle. She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Brown and her husband, David, of Guilford, Sharon Dunaway and her husband, Sam, of Virginia, and Carol Novellino and her husband, Tom, of Acton; sister, Mary Sawyer of Sangerville; four grandchildren, Boyd Pullyard, Todd Pullyard, Paul Cyr and his wife, Janice, and Jamie Libby and her fiancé, Corey Carver; two great grandchildren Madison Cyr and Jason White; and many nieces and nephews; and two special angels, Liz Herring and Laura Potenziano. She was the matriarch of the family, she will be greatly missed. A graveside memorial service will be held in the spring in the family lot at Lakeroad Cemetery, Monson.
