Obituary of Gerald L. Weymouth

Abbot – Gerald L. Weymouth, 70, passed away peacefully May 17, 2024, at his home and is now with the Lord. He was born February 8, 1954, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Everett and Alice (Hescock) Weymouth. Jerry was a Christian and a member of the Abbot Evangelical Free Church and a Mason and a brother of the Mount Kineo Lodge in Guilford. He worked for and retired from Guilford Industries and was the Manager of the Neal Monument Company. Dad enjoyed fishing and hunting with his children, father, and the rest of the family and loved to travel to many destinations with his beloved wife. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Neal Weymouth; children, Tabatha Holmes and husband, Matthew, Joseph Weymouth and girlfriend, Elizabeth Auger, and Sarah Cooper and husband, Benjamin; three grandchildren, Darian and Connor Holmes, and Terri-Anne Perigo; three great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Kori, and Harper; three brothers, Howard and wife, Pam, Rod and wife, Beth, and Tim and wife, Diana; two sisters, Heather Pomerleau and husband, Shawn, and Chandra Kane and husband, Doug; and several nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. He was predeceased by both parents and sister, Terri. Visiting hours will be held 6-8PM Friday, May 24, 2024, with Masonic services conducted at 7PM at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. A celebration of Jerry’s Life will be held 2PM Saturday, May 25, at the Abbot Evangelical Free Church. A reception will be held at the church after the service.
