Barnard- Gertrude Eva Seminatorè Bennett, 89, born to Joseph Francis Seminatorè and Gertrude (Conover) Seminatorè on November 17, 1934 in Cincinnati, Ohio. On May 11, 2024 in the year of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Trudy Bennett entered into her eternal rest surrounded by family, friends and loved ones. Trudy loved her life, her children, family and dear friends. She never ended a conversation without saying “God bless you”. Trudy was always there for her children anytime they called on her, the matriarch of her family, making sure all her children were happy, healthy and hopeful people. Trudy was well known for her sense of humor, loved to laugh and hear others laugh. Making jokes with anyone she came across, telling her grandchildren quirky stories about her life that was full of adventure and travel. Trudy was predeceased by the love of her life, Eugene Linwood Bennett Sr. on November 27, 1995, along with several of her siblings; May, Joseph Jr, Pasquale, Patricia and Angelo. As well as her son, Joe Brantley. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly; siblings, Raymond, Paul Nancy and Leroy. Her daughter, Patricia Robbins; her son Michael Brantley; granddaughter, Kristina and husband, Sam Dunson, and great-grandchildren, Samantha and Josiah. Grandson, Travis and his wife, Sammi. Great-grandchildren, Emmett and Zoey. Son, Wes Wharton and Jamie Wharton Sr; grandson, Jamie Jr and his wife Autumn; great-grandchildren, Brantley and Brayden; granddaughter, Brittany Marie. Son, Eugene L. Bennett and his wife, Rhonda; grandson, Danny Monahan and his wife, Bambi and great grandchildren, Vinny and Hunter Monahan, and Jorja Russell. Grandson, Brian Monahan and his wife, Megan; great-grandchildren, Tyler Popielski, and Haileigh and Cameron Monahan. Daughter, Helen and her husband, Nathan King; grandchildren, Jimmy Roby and his wife, Kylie, Chistina Cote and her fiancé, Levi, and great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Noah. Son, Erick Bennett; grandchildren, Alyssa Sanchez and Erick Bennett II. Daughter, Theresa and her husband, Jason Horne; grandchildren, Zachary Lane and fiancé, Brianne; great-grandchild, Keaton. Travis Lane and spouse, Heather; granddaughters, Samantha Lane and Jaylynn Horne; and grandsons, Evan and Grayson Horne. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Lary Funeral Home in Dover-Foxcroft.
