I wish I could have gotten to know Evelyn better. We did have the opportunity to hang out a few times, and I always enjoyed her company and her sense of humor. Two things I know for sure about her-- she was one of the toughest women I'd ever met, and she raised an amazing daughter who means so much to me. Evelyn was one of a kind, and her entire family has my heartfelt sympathy and prayers as they grieve her loss.
