Obituary of Ewan McPherson
Greenville Junction – Ewan McPherson, 88, passed away peacefully February 28, 2024, at Northern Light CA Dean Memorial Hospital. He was born June 7, 1935, in St. Francis, the son of Albert and Margaret (Jandreau) McPherson. Ewan was a proud United States Army Veteran. He worked for many years as a Surveyor for Great Northern Paper Company.
Ewan is survived by his three daughters, Lucinda Owens, Patricia Whitman and her husband, Burt, and Molly McPherson; son, Albert McPherson; five grandchildren, Justin Owens, Rory Owens, Amber Whitman, David Whitman, and Kyle Whitman; four special great-grandchildren, Oliviah Owens, Ryder Whitman, Harper Whitman, and Forrest Whitman; two sisters, Phyllis Jandreau and her husband, Roy, and Jean Rush; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Edith (Hughes) McPherson; son-in-law, Brett Owens; two brothers, Alden and Lloyd McPherson; and five sisters, Ester Harvey, Freda Thibodeau, Justine Riston, Zue Pelletier, and Marilyn Young.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM March 9, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Raj, celebrant. After the Mass, all are invited to gather for a luncheon in the reception area. Burial with military honors will be in the Greenville Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
