Obituary of Christopher J. Craft

Rockwood - Christopher J. Craft, (Boat), passed away in his sleep February 10, 2024, in Rockwood, Maine. He was born in New Britain, Connecticut, on Jan. 17, 1967, the son of Walter and Norma Craft. After graduating from Bangor High School, he joined the Army and served for 2 years. He then moved to Greenville and worked at Dirigo Lumber until its closing. After that he moved to Rockwood only to go back to Bangor to help with his mother. He loved the outdoors and especially loved to fish and hunt. Chris had a big heart and helped just about anyone who needed it. Chris is survived by two sisters, Ellie Craft of Bangor and Catherine Kilburn of Greenville; one brother, Cory Craft of Bangor; two nieces, Jamie Craft from Greenville and Jessica Canales and her husband, Luis, of Winterhaven, Florida; one nephew, Jake Gallant of Greenville; and one great-nephew, Connor Truman from Greenville. He will be sadly missed by everyone that knew him. The family would like to thank all his friends in Rockwood that took care of him and give a special thanks to the Tomer's and Rick Cobb.
