Milo – Robert O. Hathorn Sr., 81, was called home to the Lord on November 19, 2023, at Northern Light Mayo Hospital, surrounded by loving family. He was born March 8, 1942, in Bristol, CT. Bobby graduated from Milo High School, Class of 1960, and married his high school sweetheart, Eloise (Burton). Bobby was a beloved coach in his earlier years and has remained loved and respected by his community. Bobby was a kind, familiar face at the Milo IGA for nearly 30 years.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Eloise Hathorn; brother, David Hathorn and wife, Glenda; two sons, Robert Hathorn Jr. and wife, Michelle, and Jeffrey Hathorn and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Randall, Crystal, Greg, Tamara, Chase, Kenny, Chelsea, and Jada; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Elaina, Brady, Bryce, and Rowen; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his mother, Arlene Villani; father, Robert E. Hathorn; and brother, Joey Vallani.
A graveside memorial service will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery in Milo in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
