Rockwood – Andrew J. Tomer, 60, passed away October 6, 2023, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born February 10, 1963, in Bangor, the son of Francis and Mariette (Cote) Tomer. Andrew was a Penobscot Native. He was well known in his community as an excellent guitarist and vocalist. He was a self-taught musician who never learned how to read music. Andrew is survived by his two sons, Joseph and Alexander; and two sisters, Janice Tomer and Amy Jones. He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Francis Jr. and a sister, Jacqueline. Everyone is welcome to join the family at a Celebration of Life on November 11, 2023, from 12-4 pm, at the Rockwood Community Center. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
