Obituary of Arthur "Black Fox" Webb

Dover-Foxcroft - Arthur “Black Fox” Webb, 80, passed away peacefully in his sleep October 8, 2023. He was born May 22, 1943, in Milo, the son of Albert and Margaret Webb. He grew up in Milo with his seven siblings, Raymond, Marilyn, Shirley, Donald, Stephen, James, who have all previously passed, and sister, Norma. Arthur was very kind, caring and very well known to most members of his community. He spent many years working in the textile industry although his greatest passion was to be a member of the Milo Police Department which unfortunately would never come to fruition. Arthur met the love of his life, Ethel Pare, and would spend his last 40 years as her life partner. The two did not have any children between them although he was a father figure to Ethel’s children, Anna, Jim, and Patty. He had many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Arthur had a passion for music and dancing, loved animals, and was always ready to give the shirt off his back to help others. He will be remembered for being kind and generous. A memorial service will be held 1PM Saturday, October 21, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. Committal service will be immediately after in the East Dover Cemetery, and celebration of life will be held at The Bears Den Tavern. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
