I wish I had seen her more often over the years. However, her big beautiful smile and huge free spirit will never be forgotten.

It seems that I have memories of Iggy from every stage of my life.
After hearing of her passing the memories came flooding back. The early years consist of fondly remembering waiting in the stationwagon at Ebeeme after tooting the "special toot" so uncle Merle would bring the boat over and pick us up. After getting to camp, rather for a visit or being there for a family reunion, we had hours of laughs, Swimming, playing in the woods, collecting bugs etc. Next the rebellious years kicked in and Iggy went to Mississippi to stay for a while. We actually became closer through the letters we wrote back and forth. When she came home we were partners in crime. Not doing much but always seemed to be doing something. Summers were the best. Walking from place to place covering miles and miles. And of course we got caught a couple times lying about our where abouts. Adulthood took us in different directions but some how we managed to touch base now and then. And each phone call or brief visit consisted of remembering the crazy shit we did over the years and lived to tell about it. (Riding with timmy Richard in his red convertable. The washout and a sand pit were involved, Our visit to Conn.& NH With the guy cousins come to mind) I will be forever thankful for all the crazy memories. Iggy always made a boring day something to remember.

Eileen and I were best buds in 1983. We had so much fun and made so many memories. She stood up with me at my wedding almost 40 years.ago now. During the wedding my husbud in the making was so nervous he was breathing really hard and.loud.duing the ceremony. Well, Eileen looked at me and me at her and we both busted out laughing. It was an a awkward moment and put a stop to the wedding for just a minute.but we had.our laugh. Lots of laughing happened in Iggys prescence.
