The family of Marilyn. I remember during my middle school years, I spent a lot of time at the Wharff home with Debbie and her siblings. Marilyn made every moment feel like home. Sending sympathy to the family.

I can still remember the time I was scalped by Uncle Don's Drill Press back in '72. Aunt Marilyn never broke a sweat loaded me in the car and took me to the Hospital. She made Wes to go out to the car and get my scalp so they could sew it back on, he puked but Aunt Marilyn stayed with me while they put it back all 65 stiches.
I will miss her

Aunt Marilyn
I will always remember the warmth and the laughter of my aunt and uncle’s home in Guilford. My father was Wendell Roy Wharff and during the 1960’s and 1970’s he and my mother Debbie would load up my brother and me and journey 5 hours north from MA to ME at thanksgiving and on Memorial Day weekend.
The highlight was always visiting our incredible and exciting cousins in Guilford .
Marilyn’s smile and laugh were so welcoming. I loved watching her try to keep an eye on Don, Wes and Brian; clearly an impossible task. The girls were so cool and perfect in my view! Her closeness with her family was evident in all that I saw. I treasure these special holiday memories with our Wharff clan and send deepest sympathies for the loss of your family’s beacon of warmth; your incredible Mother.
Love,
Kim (Wharff) Chester

I grew up with Marilyn and Donnie and the family living. Just up the road from us. She was a neighborhood lady with cookies and milk. Us kids played in the field between our houses, baseball, tin can alley and hide and seek again the cookies showed up! Our condolences to Debbie, Shari, Wesley, Brian, and Laurie.A long with your families? ❤️

I remember Marilyn from her days at Mayo. She was a sweet lady you could always count on. What I really remember is how nice she looked and never a hair out of place. You were all blessed with a wonderful mother. God Bless Marilyn.

Greg and I were deeply saddened to learn that Marilyn was in the hospital, and now to learn of her passing. Greg looked forward to her wave from the window as he walked past each morning. Checking to see if she was sitting on her little porch was a habit we both will miss. Our thoughts are with all of the family as you grieve the loss of the family matriarch.
